Applying online is simple and there is a €150k investment fund in Cork alone, with targeted business supports on offer to help launch your business to the next level.
The prize fund has been changed for this year’s competition, with prize money available to runners up in each category. For each of the three LEOs in Cork, the winner of ‘Best New Idea’ will receive €7,000, while the runner-up will receive €3,000; while the winners of ‘Best Start-Up’ and ‘Best Established’ will each receive €15,000 and the runners-up in each of these categories will each receive €5,000.
Applications from Cork businesses and start-ups are invited before October 14th, 2016, with successful applicants progressing to a business boot camp and mentoring support in association with the LEOs in Cork.
Whether you are at the idea stage or if you are already trading, and are aged 18 to 35, all that matters is that you have a good business idea that works.
